A longtime designer for Lightswitch, Mark Hoover started as a lighting designer, director and programmer for national and international tours of big name musical artists. His study in design at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC gave him strengths in lighting and sound design which translated well to concert work. In 1991 he segued into lighting design for corporate events, creative environments and, most recently, touring museum exhibits. He is a deeply spiritual person - an active Buddhist and ordained non-denominational minister, – values the time spent with his colleagues in the various Lightswitch offices around the country and currently counts Florida and Hawaii as home.
