What It Was

Frank Gehry’s barrier breaking creation houses the world’s premier destination for music enthusiasts. The 140,000 square foot building includes interactive exhibits, unique artifacts and live performances.

What We Did

Diverse architectural lighting fixtures were used in order to reveal the space and enhance the user’s experience.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch approached the project artistically, wishing to capture the feel, texture and shape of the three dimensional backdrop and the spirit of the project. The results compliment the creative architectural engineering while fulfilling their functional purpose. Lightswitch received an illumination design award from IESNA Golden Gate Section for this project.
