What It Was

The Apple U2 iPod release included a surprise performance by the legendary rock group U2. This event marked the first times that songs from the famed “Atomic Bomb” album were played.

What We Did

Bono and the Edge of U2 require all aspects of each performance to be meticulous. Lighting is no exception. Lightswitch was able to illuminate the historic California theater for still, webcast and broadcast cameras without detracting from the performance.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch worked with Superior Exhibit and Design and Adams and Associates in order to create a highly memorable product reveal. Lighting in the theater, Hand’s On and Press conference areas all blended seamlessly and sent a consistent message.
