What It Was

A smart and wickedly funny new musical based on the cult-favorite film "Opposite of Sex". Featuring a Broadway cast and the director of Beauty and the Beast, this San Francisco musical's time was extended at The Magic Theatre due to high demand and rave reviews.

What We Did

The stage was simple, yet needed to convey a story that stretched from Louisiana to Los Angeles with very few stage props. It was therefore the responsibility of Lightswitch to convey much of the story through lighting.

Why It Worked

The Opposite of Sex is a high-impact play that required equally high impact lighting. Lightswitch successfully provided lighting to reflect the emotions of the talented actors, as well as their physical locations. The use of diverse custom-made gobos further enhanced the simple scenery.
