What It Was

BMC Software and their top sellers were headed to the well know Broadmore Hotel in Colorado Springs. The production company, One Smooth Stone, thought one way to make an impact for the client was to create huge pictures on the outside of the main hotel building. Opposite the main building were the guest rooms and from these rooms every guest in the hotel would look out of their room and see imagery inspired by the theme of the BMC meeting, projected as big and bright as could be.

What We Did

One Smooth Stone turned to Lightswitch and we came up with a very simple, cost effective but high impact solution. One Pigi projector was placed in a hotel room across the lake, 660 feet from the projection surface. Lightswitch designed images that completely filled the 100’ side of the hotel, when projected. We worked carefully with One Smooth Stone to design imagery that was closely tied into the overall graphic identity of the event.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch has a complete understanding of media design. In this example we were able to use a very simple technique to create a very bold statement. The position of the projector could not have been better and the imagery that we designed was very bold and graphic, all leading to a very successful project.
